Mrs. Angeline LITER 72, 116 Simpson Street died Friday evening after an illness of six weeks with hardening of the arteries. She was the widow of MA Liter who death occurred 4 years ago. Mrs. Liter was one of the oldest residents of the county having been born and reared in Montgomery. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Campbell early pioneer settlers. After her marriage to Mr. Liter they lived in the Young's Chapel neighborhood on a farm. Six years ago Mr. Liter retired and they moved to this city. The deceased was a member of Young's Chapel Christian Church. She is survived by a son, John Liter of two miles north of here on Concord Road; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Thomas of New Richmond; two brothers, James and Newtown Campbell of east of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Pugh and Mrs. AO Austin both of this city. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at two at the home of her son, John Liter, Rev. SG Smith of Ladoga will have charge of the services; burial in Oak Hill. - kbz
